King Bag Manufacturing Process
Using measurements of the client’s projects, a flat pattern outlining the different pieces, their measurements, and construction methods, is made. The pattern is traced onto a low cost prototyping fabric.
The final material is assembled into larger pieces with a welding process in which two layers of vinyl are heated to the point of fusing together, allowing for larger pattern pieces to be cut from them.
The pieces are sent to a screen printing company or spray painted with stencils in house. The information applied to the product depends on the client’s needs. Company logos and outward facing information are often screen printed, and internal identification numbers and codes are usually spray painted.
