The rugged chaotic parts of nature have always intrigued Josh. It was that interest that stemmed his curiosity in mechanical engineering. But after stumbling upon Industrial design he realized that the ability to be more creative was more advantageous to him than engineering.
Since becoming a part of DAAP industrial design hasn’t stopped inspiring him. Even though most people would call his design process a little chaotic he loves to work with his hands as much as possible. The feeling of forming a design with your own hands and watching the project evolve right before your eyes is invigorating. He has interned at Westrock and Enable Injections, which helped grow his passion for physical model making. He is pursuing another internship this summer in hopes of growing even more as a designer.
