Brian Kovesci

Brian was influenced by Design at a young age. His grandfather designed furniture in his hometown of Akron. Several pieces of his furniture were on display at conferences in New York 50 years ago. He also was influenced by the likes of Josef Albers, Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. Although Brian earned a Marketing and Logistics degree from OSU, he found Industrial Design to be his true calling.

Since starting at DAAP Brian has learned to really enjoy solving problems. What free time Brian has is spent either reading or sketching. He has had the pleasure of interning with Frontgate (West Chester, OH) for two terms where he designed bar stools, end tables, lanterns and a bunch of other home goods and furniture. His next internship will be with Mauk Designs (San Francisco, CA) where he will design exhibition spaces.
